Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of arcsigma.com and ArcSigma Academy’s free courses, live cohorts and team training, operated by Sidinnov Technologies LLP.

Last updated

These terms are an agreement between you and Sidinnov Technologies LLP (“ArcSigma Academy”, “we”, “us”), a limited liability partnership registered in India with its registered office at Innov8, 7th Floor, S 11, Ghatkopar Link Road, Chakala MIDC, Mumbai 400093, Maharashtra, India. By using arcsigma.com or any of our courses, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Please read these terms together with our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy, which form part of them. These terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and are published in line with Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. They are generated by a computer system and need no physical or digital signature.

Your account

  • You need an account to take quizzes, earn certificates and enrol in cohorts. You can sign up with an email and password, or with Google or Microsoft
  • Give us accurate, complete and current details, and keep them up to date. Don’t sign up as someone else, use a false identity, or create an account for another person without their permission
  • Keep your password to yourself and don’t share your login. You’re responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you think someone else has used it, tell us straight away at grievance@arcsigma.com
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must create the account or give their verifiable consent, and by doing so they accept these terms on your behalf and are responsible for your use of the site
  • Your account and enrolments are personal to you and can’t be sold or transferred, except where our Cancellation & Refund Policy lets you pass a seat to someone else

Free courses and certificates

  • Free short courses cost nothing and need no payment details
  • A free certificate is issued when you pass the course quiz. It shows that you completed the course; it is not an academic degree or a professional licence
  • We may update, replace or retire a free course at any time
  • We may withdraw any certificate, free or paid, that was earned by cheating, plagiarism, sharing quiz answers, using someone else’s work or giving us false details. A withdrawn certificate will no longer verify

Live cohorts

  • Reserving a seat holds it for you. We then email a payment link, and your seat is confirmed once payment is received
  • Prices are shown in Indian rupees if you are in India and in US dollars everywhere else, on the cohort page and our pricing page. You pay in the currency shown. Any applicable taxes are shown before you pay
  • Sessions run live on the dates shown. We may change a session date, time or mentor when we need to, and we’ll tell you in advance
  • Live sessions are recorded. By joining, you agree that your name, voice, video and chat messages may appear in the recording. Recordings are shared only with learners and mentors in your batch, usually within 24 hours
  • Access to recordings and cohort materials lasts for the period shown on the cohort page. Paying for a cohort does not give you unlimited or lifetime access unless the cohort page says so
  • A project certificate is issued when your final project meets the brief. We decide whether a project meets it
  • Cancellations and refunds follow our Cancellation & Refund Policy

Payments

  • Pay only through the payment links and checkout on arcsigma.com. Never pay a mentor or anyone else directly. We aren’t responsible for money paid outside our official channels
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. When you pay, you also agree to their terms, including any fee they or your bank charge
  • We aren’t responsible for a failed or declined payment caused by your bank, card limits, authorisation problems or the payment provider. If you were charged but your seat wasn’t confirmed, our Cancellation & Refund Policy explains what we’ll do
  • We may change our prices at any time. A change never affects a seat you have already paid for
  • If a payment is incomplete, reversed or charged back, we may pause or remove your access to that cohort until it’s settled
  • Your internet or mobile provider may charge you separately for data

Training for teams

Team training is provided under a separate proposal or agreement. Where that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement applies.

Mentors

Our mentors are independent practitioners who teach and review projects on our behalf. Their opinions are their own. Mentors who teach with us also agree to separate mentor terms. If a mentor behaves inappropriately in a session, please tell us at grievance@arcsigma.com and we’ll look into it.

How you may use our content

  • Course videos, lessons, quizzes, cheatsheets, recordings, the site’s software and design, and the ArcSigma name and logo belong to us, our mentors or our licensors
  • We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use them for your own learning, and nothing more. All other rights are reserved
  • Don’t copy, download, screen-record, resell, rent, republish, translate or make derivative works from our materials, or share your login, without our written permission
  • Don’t record live sessions yourself, scrape the site, or try to decompile, reverse engineer or get around any access controls
  • Don’t remove copyright, trademark or other notices from our materials
  • Cheatsheets may be printed and shared for personal, non-commercial use, as long as the ArcSigma Academy credit stays on them

What you share with us

  • You keep ownership of the projects you submit and the ratings, reviews and comments you post
  • You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and review them so we can run your course. We’ll ask you first before showcasing your project or name publicly. Ratings and reviews you post publicly may be shown on the site with your first name
  • Only share content you have the right to share, and don’t post your own or anyone else’s sensitive personal details
  • We don’t check everything you post, but we may edit, hide or remove anything that breaks these terms

Conduct

Be respectful in live sessions and any community spaces. Don’t disrupt sessions, spam other learners, or try to access parts of the site or other accounts you’re not allowed to. You must not host, display, upload, share or send anything that:

  • belongs to someone else and you have no right to share
  • is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another person’s privacy (including bodily privacy), insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, or encourages money laundering or gambling
  • is harmful to children
  • infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right
  • deceives or misleads about where a message came from, or knowingly shares information that is false, misleading or patently untrue
  • impersonates another person, including our staff or mentors
  • threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with other countries or public order, incites any offence, or insults another nation
  • contains a virus, malware or any code meant to interrupt, damage or limit any computer, system or data
  • is unsolicited advertising, chain mail or spam
  • breaks any law in force

We may remove such content and suspend or close the account that posted it. We may also access, keep and share information about you or your account when we reasonably believe it is needed to comply with the law or a government or court request, enforce these terms, deal with fraud, security or technical problems, or protect the rights and safety of our learners, our team or the public.

Communications

By creating an account or sending us a form, you agree that we may contact you by email, SMS, WhatsApp or phone about your account, courses and payments. We may also tell you about new courses and offers. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time through the unsubscribe link in our emails or by emailing team@arcsigma.com. You’ll still receive messages we need to send about your account, enrolments and payments.

Our courses and pages link to other websites and use third-party tools, such as video meeting platforms, AI tools and sign-in providers. We don’t control them, a link isn’t an endorsement, and their own terms and privacy policies apply. Using them is at your own risk.

Disclaimers

We work hard to keep our teaching accurate and current, but courses are for education only. They are not legal, financial, investment or tax advice. AI tools change quickly, and features we teach may change or stop working. We don’t guarantee any particular job, income, exam result or other outcome from taking a course.

The site and our courses are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no other promises, express or implied, including about fitness for a particular purpose. We don’t promise that the site will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free, and no transmission over the internet is completely private or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or opportunity, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the course the claim relates to. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for fraud, or your rights under Indian consumer protection law.

Indemnity

You agree to compensate us, our partners, employees, mentors and agents for any loss, claim, penalty or reasonable legal cost that arises because you broke these terms, broke the law, infringed someone else’s rights, or misused the site or our materials.

Termination

  • You can close your account at any time by emailing grievance@arcsigma.com from your registered address. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data
  • We may suspend or close your account, or remove you from a cohort, if you break these terms, misuse the site, create a security risk, or if the law requires it. Where we reasonably can, we’ll tell you why
  • When an account is closed, your access to courses, recordings and materials ends. Any refund is decided under our Cancellation & Refund Policy; a cohort is not refunded if you are removed for breaking these terms
  • Sections that by their nature should continue, including content ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law, survive the end of your account

Events beyond our control

We aren’t responsible for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as internet or power outages, failures of our service providers, natural disasters, epidemics, war, strikes or government action. If a cohort is cancelled or moved because of such an event, our Cancellation & Refund Policy applies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell registered learners by email. If you keep using the site after an update, you accept the new terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a dispute with us, please first raise it with our Grievance Officer (details below), and we’ll both try in good faith to settle it within 30 days. If it isn’t settled, the courts at Mumbai, India will have exclusive jurisdiction. This doesn’t affect your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

General

  • These terms, with our Privacy Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy and any team training agreement, are the whole agreement between you and us about the site and our courses
  • If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies
  • If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we haven’t given it up
  • We may transfer our rights and duties under these terms to another company, for example if our business is sold or restructured. You may not transfer yours without our written consent
  • We’ll send notices to the email address on your account, and they count as received when sent. You can send notices to grievance@arcsigma.com
  • Nobody other than you and us has any rights under these terms
  • A printed copy of these terms and of any notice we send electronically can be used in legal proceedings in the same way as a paper document
